what i collect when you book

• your name and how to reach you: your Instagram handle, your email, or your number if you text me
• the day of your appointment
• the design photos you send me
• your deposit and payment
• anything you tell me about allergies or your skin that matters for your set

why

To book and confirm your appointment, to do your nails safely, and to keep simple business records. Ontario's rules for personal service settings ask for a client's name and contact before a service, and payment records are kept for tax.

this website

No forms, no accounts, no cookies and no ad trackers. Cloudflare, the company that hosts the site, counts visits without cookies and without knowing who you are, and keeps standard technical logs.

who else handles it

Instagram (Meta) for messages, Gmail and Google Calendar (Google) for email and bookings, Cloudflare for this website and for forwarding email to me, and the banks that handle the e-transfer. Some of these companies keep data outside Canada, where the authorities there may be able to see it.

how long i keep it

Payment records are kept for six years, for tax.

your rights

You can ask to see or correct the information I have about you, and I will answer within 30 days. If you are not happy with my answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
